    Thanks for your replies, there are sometimes cabs on ebay, but it is to expensive to ship to Europe. I want to build them, because I have the original components and it would be fine to hear them sounding like 60 years before. The volume of the cab is not the problem, you can find how wide,deep and high they are in some vott catalogs on ebay. The problem is the measurement of the horn, I only know, they have parallel flanges. Will look, maybe can see more on pictures.

    I cannot say with any certainty, but i would assume the horn is the same as that of the 816/816A, that's what i'd use at any rate. Let someone prove it incorrect, then you'll have whatever the exact dimensions are.

    My guess is half the horn on the 820

    Altec 820A Corner horn??

    I think where the 816/817 horn was taken from...But we both may be wrong as I think the 810 is wider..
